Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q1 : User Already Logged in

Description :

User attempts to log in and told their user name is already logged in

Cause :

Program did not exit properly, another workstation is already logged in with the user name

Solution :

Check there are no other users currently logged into the same database with the same user name

Assuming no other user is logged in,

  • Enter your user name as normal

  • Enter the word    reset     as the password

  • Click OK

You should now be able to log in normally

 

Q2 : Error 3220 - "Function is not available....."

Description :

When attempting to create a new schedule, or perform other update operation.

Cause :

Some operating system components need updating.

Solution :

  • Click Here to go to the download centre on Microsoft's website.

  • Download and install the OWC10.exe update (there are details on the webpage)

  • Restart Intec Project

 

Q3 : Error 430 - "Class does not support Automation....."

Description :

When importing data using the Intec Project Import option.

Cause :

Some operating system components need updating.

Solution :

  • Click Here to go to the MDAC update page on Microsoft's website.

  • Download and install the MDAC update (there are details on the webpage)

  • Restart Intec Project

 

Q4 : My clients cannot view my Snapshots

Description :

After emailing a schedule or quote to the client they cannot view it on their computer.

Cause :

They do not have Microsoft Office or Microsoft Snapshot Viewer installed.

Microsoft Snapshot Viewer is available free of charge from Microsoft.

Solution :

  • Ask the client to install Microsoft Snapshot Viewer from the Microsoft Downloads Web Page
